Spectacle lenses

As technology improves, so do lenses. In the past, they were made only of glass. Today, most are made of high-tech plastics. These lenses are lighter and do not break as easily as glass.

The secret of comfortable glasses

Comfortable glasses

Professional vision correction

We recommend that you order your glasses according to your most recent vision data. For this purpose, you can register for a professional vision screening at our opticians.

Properly selected spectacle frames

The right glasses frames for a great look and a comfortable
feel! We’ll help you choose the glasses you’ll want to wear every day. For this reason, it is important to assess whether the frames fit properly and do not touch the cheeks, as well as whether the frame legs are long enough and do not press into the temples.

Fitted spectacle lenses

Spectacle lenses guarantee clear vision. The correct fitting of spectacle lenses to the chosen frame improves the aesthetic appearance of the spectacles and provides maximum lightness.

Excellent vision without glasses

Don’t forget to wear good quality sunglasses. You can also buy safety glasses for computer work or driving glasses.

Lack of a clear view of things far away

Myopia is a very common eye condition that makes distant objects appear blurry, while close objects can be seen clearly.

Lack of clear vision of things up close

Hyperopia, or farsightedness, is when you see things that are far away better than those that are close up. Your eyes focus better on distant things than on nearby things.

Presbyopia

Vision challenges at 40

The flexibility of the lens of the eye decreases with age. As a result, you may not be able to see nearby objects clearly. The aim of treatment is to compensate for this. The following treatments are available for presbyopia:

  • ordinary reading glasses – only for reading at 40 cm;
  • modern reading glasses – for reading at a distance of 40 cm and clear vision at arm’s length;
  • Progressive glasses – they give you excellent vision at all distances without having to take them off.

Spectacle lenses

Thin spectacle lenses –
for aesthetics and lightness

For spectacles with negative sign lenses – the larger the spectacle frame, the higher the thinning index recommended (even for mild vision correction). For spectacles with positive lenses, the more oval spectacle frames are recommended.

Easier maintenance of glasses

Lenses coated with higher quality coatings are easier to clean, clearer, reduce reflections and have increased protection against minor scratches. Quality lens coatings are recommended for all types of glasses, whether you wear them regularly or only occasionally.
