Eye exercise

Eye exercise not only trains the eye muscles, but also helps them to relax and rest. Best of all, the exercises are easy and take just a few minutes, so you can do them wherever you have a few free minutes.

  1. A quick blink to help relax the eyelid muscles and restore the tear film. It is recommended to repeat this a couple of dozen times.
  2. Moving the head sideways and up/down while keeping the eyeballs in a stable position.

Palming

The essence of palming is to cover the eyes with the palms of the hands. How to do palming? Sit up straight, with your elbows on the table, close your eyes and cover your eyes with your palms, relax and think of something very nice and sweet. Sit like this for half a minute or a little longer. What are the benefits? It is only in total darkness that the eyes relax best, so they will rest well in such a short time.

Food for your eyes

If you want to maintain good eyesight, a complete diet is essential. The diet should contain more vitamins A and E, potassium, phosphorus and iron-rich foods. A large part of the nutrients needed for the eyes can be obtained from berries, green vegetables and fruit. This should be the basis of the diet, at least during the warm season. The top 5 foods for your eyes are: fish (salmon, tuna, trout, etc.); nuts, especially almonds; various vegetables and fruits (carrots, blueberries, broccoli); eggs.
