Eye exercises

If you work on a computer, remember to take 15-minute breaks every hour and a half. During these breaks, it is recommended to do eye exercises. The exercises should be done while sitting with your head held straight. Repeat each exercise 4-5 times.

Option one

  1. Open your eyes wide and look into the distance. Close your eyes, and tighten your eye muscles. Then relax.
  2. Without turning your head, look to the right. Then look to the left.
  3. Close your right eye and open your left eye wide. And vice versa.
  4. Hold your index finger straight in front of your nose and look at it. Then look into the distance.
  5. Furrow your brow and look angry. Then close your eyes and relax.

Second option

  1. Close your eyes without straining your eye muscles. Then open your eyes and look into the distance.
  2. Aim your gaze at the tip of your nose. Then look into the distance.
  3. Without turning your head, slowly make circular movements with your eyes: up, right, down, left and repeat in the opposite direction. Then look into the distance.
  4. Without turning your head, look upwards, then straight, then downwards and straight, right and straight, left and straight.

Option 3

  1. Keep your head straight, without straining your eye muscles, and blink.
  2. Close your eyes without turning your head, then turn your head to the right, left and straight.
  3. Look at the tip of your nose, then into the distance.
  4. At a moderate pace, make 3-4 circular eye movements to the right, then to the left, relaxing the eye muscles and looking into the distance.
